It is very
important to let us have your
request for a home visit before
10.00am so that your own doctor who
knows your case best can come out to
you. All requests for home visits
require a doctor's decision.
Our receptionists are specially
trained to take the details of your
call sympathetically and in total
confidence, so please give her the
details of your problem. This helps
us judge the urgency of the call and
ensures that those who need visiting
most urgently are first on the
doctor's list.
Home visits are
intended particularly for the very
young or old, very ill or
housebound. Please remember that
your doctor can see four patients in
the surgery in the time taken to do
one home visit.
Please
note: If the
patient has a temperature or a rash,
coming into the surgery will do no
harm and will not endanger others.
Please inform the receptionist on
your arrival.
