They can be contacted on the maternity bleep or on Bramber Ward at Worthing Hospital 01903 285144.
Community Nurses
District nurses provide home nursing for acutely and chronically sick patients who CANNOT get to the surgery. They can be contacted on 01903 254789. If they are not in, a message can be left on their answer phone or, alternatively, with the receptionist.
Health Visitors
A team of health visitors provide health advice and support for families with babies and children under five. They are also involved in monitoring your child’s development. They work within the community and can be contacted on 785836. A message can be left on their answer phone. The health visitors also run a number of groups including a postnatal group, baby massage and courses on self esteem and assertiveness. You can book a place on any of these courses through the health visitors. Clinics are held in both Rustington and Angmering and are for babies under six months. Please contact the health visitors for dates and times.
