Youth Emotional Support (Ages 8 to 17)
We provide emotional support for young people aged 8 to 17 who may be struggling with their mental wellbeing.
Our aim is to help young people feel heard, understood, and supported, and to ensure they can access the right help as early as possible.
Who this service is for
This service is for young people aged 8 to 17 who may be experiencing difficulties such as:
- Feeling anxious or worried
- Low self-esteem
- Anger or emotional challenges
- General concerns about mental wellbeing
Parents or carers may also find this service helpful when supporting a young person.
What the appointments involve
We offer individual youth emotional support appointments on Wednesdays.
During these appointments, we may:
- Talk through how the young person is feeling
- Assess what support may be needed
- Offer guidance and psychoeducation sessions
- Refer to other services if appropriate
Appointments are delivered in a supportive and age-appropriate way.
